Color

Our semi-permanent tattoos work beautifully on all skin tones, but the final color will vary from person to person. The ink interacts with your unique skin chemistry, so the end result can range from blue/green to dark blue-black — making every tattoo uniquely yours.

Fade & Longevity

Hair & Application (Read Before You Apply)

  • Does hair affect results? Yes. Dense hair prevents full contact between the film and skin, leading to air gaps, patchy development, and faster fading.

  • Prep: Trim or shave the area 12–24 hours before applying. Gently cleanse (no lotions, oils, or sunscreen on the spot). Avoid shaving right before application to prevent irritation and over-absorption.

  • During application: Lay hair flat and press in the direction of hair growth. Use a well-soaked towel to apply even pressure from the center outward—make sure the edges are fully wetted and pressed. For large pieces, cover with a large wet towel to keep the design stable and prevent shifting.

  • Aftercare: Do not shave or wax over the tattoo; this can lift the stained keratin layer and shorten wear time. Pat dry after washing—no scrubbing.

  • Placement tips: Choose areas with finer hair and lower friction (e.g., inner forearm, upper arm, shoulder, collarbone, calf, thigh). Very hairy or high-friction areas (hands, wrists, ankles, along waistbands) may only last around 1 week.

Your tattoo will gradually fade as your skin naturally regenerates. Several factors influence how long it lasts:

  • Daily Activity – Excessive heat, water, or friction (such as exfoliation) can cause faster fading.

  • Placement – Areas that are washed often or subject to friction, such as hands, wrists, or ankles, generally fade more quickly and may last around 1 week.

  • Moisturizing – Well-moisturized skin helps your tattoo last longer; staying hydrated also helps.

  • Skin Chemistry – Everyone’s skin reacts differently, affecting both color and fading speed.

💡 Note: Showering does not reduce color development or permanence — but scrubbing the tattooed area during showers will shorten its lifespan. This is because our product colors the skin’s keratin layer; scrubbing removes keratin, and with it, the pigment.

Important Precautions

  • Avoid Prolonged Skin Contact
For the first night, reduce friction on the area. If sleeping, lightly cover the tattoo to protect the design.

  • Prevent Smudging
Keep the tattooed area dry for at least 6 hours after application.
Avoid showers, swimming, or heavy sweating during this time.
If you shower before applying the tattoo, wait at least 2 hours before application.

Tattoo Removal

Color won’t come off instantly. If you need it lighter sooner, try gentle exfoliation or a warm compress to speed up fading.

  • Use exfoliating creams or body wash and gently scrub.

  • Apply a hot towel to the area.

  • Exercise to increase sweating and skin renewal.

Additional Notes

  • Full color develops in 48–72 hours.

  • Cooler temperatures or slower metabolism may slightly delay color development.

  • Different body parts develop and fade at different speeds; outer arms and legs tend to develop and fade more slowly than other areas.

By following these steps and care tips, you’ll enjoy a realistic, long-lasting semi-permanent tattoo that’s uniquely yours.
